Melbourne Studio Danger Thumbs have announced that the demo build of Footy Bash, currently being finalised, will be playable at both Pax Aus 2024 and on Steam during Next Fest in October.
Footy Bash was an absolute highlight of Pax Aus 2023, and since then, the team has gone on to rework the AI, implement much of the feedback gathered at Pax and update the aesthetic of the game.
Footy Bash is an arcade take on Aussie Rules Football that features a bunch of stuff you likely expect, plus blood thirsty physical combat. The objective is to score more points than the other team, but the methods of getting there are a bit more open, see for yourself in the trailer below.
The October demo will feature couch co-op with online play still in development. The initial release will be on PC via Steam with Console and Mobile versions being worked on.
