The year is almost done and let me tell you dbrand just casually posting switch 2 Info was not on my bingo card but here we are.
So it all started a few days ago when Canada accessories manufacturer Dbrand posted an image that looks like a case for Switch 2. Now they weren’t the only ones to do this but they are the only ones that seemed to have any information so we are only going to focus on them.
Now this could be anything right but the internet was ablaze with questions what was this for was it for the long awaited switch 2 or something else we didn’t need to wait long for the answer.
Only one day later the company tweeted once again this time with a helpful little link.
So yes this mysterious case was indeed for the Nintendo Switch 2 and it’s called the Switch 2 Killswitch. On the page itself, is where the real magic is you get a better look at what appears to be the design of Nintendo’s Switch successor. An animation of the case rotating seems to show a Switch 2 console, complete with the curved joy-cons and extra buttons that we saw from the past design leaks. We’ll link our article below.
The only other thing on the webpage is a form to signup to be notified when it becomes available and according to the CEO they’re aiming to have the case ready for release in late March or early April.

And that’s not all the dbrand CEO was very forthcoming on details all about the new console he spoke with insider gaming on the new console.
“Dbrand’s CEO Adam Ijaz has confirmed to Insider Gaming that the actual design of the Nintendo Switch 2 is what’s in the case in the animations.” “it is the Switch 2 with our Killswitch case on it”
Dbrand says it has actual dimensions of the Switch 2 – based on a 3D scan of the real hardware. They understand the Joy-Con are magnetically attached which would also tie into the leaks with an ejection button on Top back.
Switch 2 measurements closer to 270mm wide, 116mm tall, and 14mm thick, with the console portion taking up 200mm worth of that width.
“Ijaz says the joysticks stand 6.27mm tall, and the D-pad and ABXY buttons protrude by 1.57mm, with a 180mm wide kickstand, and back triggers that extend 14.1mm.”

So what do you guys thing about this does this excite you even more then we already are for the switch to and do you think the Big N is happy about all this info hitting the internet be sure to let us know.
