Nintendo Switch 2 Joy-Con Leaked Images A Timeline

so this all begain back last year when the first alleged photos of the Joy con and the Switch 2 itself were shared by a user on the Chinese video platform Bilibili. The images, posted by a creator named 马里奥68, appeared to show a new version of the Joy-Cons with several notable changes.

First, the controllers feature what looks like an infrared camera, larger SL and SR buttons, and a new button on the back that resembles a pedal. Another standout detail is the mention of a magnetic design, which could indicate how the Joy-Cons attach to the console. We have a full breakdown of this leak linked below.

Now we have even more images of the controller that seem to confirm a lot of the original leak as well as adding some more interesting info to the fire.

The images in question very much match all the leaks and original images but this time the JoyCon are sporting a sleek new black and blue colour scheme as well as more interestingly what looks to be official  markings and serial numbers on the back.

Something else very interesting about the new controller’s is it would appear they may also be able to be used as a mouse. Switch 2 shipping data indicates the joycons will have mouse soles/feet and the new images also show the JoyCon have an optical sensor.

reddit user NextHandheld (who has gotten a ton of details right so far including his picture leaks) hinted that the Switch 2 JoyCon laser sensors will do something similar to the “LeGo” (i.e. Legion Go)

If this does turn out to be the case then Nintendo really are getting ready to release not only their most powerful console yet but also their most versatile controller’s.

But at the moment this is all just rumours and speculation so be sure to take it all with a grain of salt and let us know what you want from the new console and we will be sure to have all the Switch 2 info as it happens.
