We may finally see the Nintendo Switch 2 get it reveal this week as quite a few credible leakers and industry insiders had all said the same thing the Switch 2 will be revealed this week this Thursday to be precise that works out to be Friday for us aussie peeps.
This info come’s from Nate The Hate, The Verge and VGC The reveal will focus exclusively on the console with no games presence/focus. Software showcase in late Feb or early March.
Nate the hate had this to say “I can share with you that Nintendo Switch 2 will be revealed in the coming week… I have been told Switch 2 will be revealed on Thursday, January 16… just a few days from now,” they said.
“I’ve heard that the reveal itself is going to focus almost exclusively on the console itself. There is not going to be any presence of games. There could be a game shown running on the screen, depending on how the trailer is put together, but software is not going to be a focus.”
The two-part reveal plan would align with how Nintendo showed the original Nintendo Switch, and match with what VGC has been told about Nintendo’s plans for the Switch 2 reveal.
Nate the Hate speculates that Switch 2 could launch in May or June of this year which also lines up with our own predictions and that a new version of Mario Kart could be available at launch which would line up with the leak of a Mario kart 9 version of the Nintendo switch 2 at launch, followed by a 3D Mario released during the holiday period of 2025.
