EA have officially revealed Battlefield Labs its new community testing program it’s a way for players to playtest the game for EA before release. EA also revealed the the collection of studios working ion the battle field franchise including DICE, Criterion, Motive, and Ripple Effect are now known as Battlefield Studios.
EA had this to say on Battlefield Labs “This new testing environment is where our players will join forces with BF Studios and help shape the evolution of Battlefield,” EA said. “You’ll test combat mechanics, modes, and more, while providing us with crucial feedback in the ultimate collaboration.
“Your voice will help shape our collective future. Let’s build together.”
“Regardless of your level of participation, we want all Battlefield fans to be a part of the process,” EA said. “We’ll be posting work-in-progress public updates from our community team where you will hear directly from developers at Battlefield Studios.”
Battlefield Labs is available to signup for now through the game’s Discord. In the beginning, it will only available to “a few thousand participants” in North America and Europe. More will be added over time across different regions.
