Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced that Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO, the latest installment in the Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi series, has sold over 5 million copies worldwide since its release. This achievement makes it the fastest-selling title in the Dragon Ball gaming franchise.
Record-Breaking Sales
Released on October 11, 2024, Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO quickly became a commercial success. The game sold more than 3 million copies within the first 24 hours, setting a new record for the series.
Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The game has also achieved significant success on Steam, becoming the best-selling title on the platform and peaking at 122,554 concurrent players.
The game’s rapid sales and positive reception suggest a strong future for the Dragon Ball gaming franchise. Fans can anticipate continued support and potential expansions to the game in the coming months.
