Mecha Break, the upcoming multiplayer mecha shooter from developer Amazing Seasun Games, has announced the Global Storm Open Beta, set to begin on February 23, 2025, at 2:00 AM PT. This beta will be available on PC and Xbox Series X|S, featuring full cross-play between platforms.
A highlight of this beta is the introduction of Mashmak, a new PvPvE extraction mode. In Mashmak, players will engage in high-stakes battles on the Mashmak Isles, competing to collect and extract a valuable resource called Corite. The mode offers unique equipment and strategic opportunities, including the use of weapons and gliders.
In addition to Mashmak, the beta will include the following game modes:
- 6v6 Operation Verge
- 3v3 Ace Arena
Players can also expect:
- Revised maps for existing modes
- Player reputation system
- Balance adjustments to various mechs
- Combat finishing moves
- New customization options for pilots and mechs
To participate in the beta, PC players can pre-load the demo on Steam starting February 20, 2025, at 2:00 AM PT. Simply search for “Mecha BREAK Demo” on Steam and click the “Install Demo” button.
Mecha Break is scheduled for official release in Spring 2025 on PC and Xbox Series X|S, with plans to expand to other platforms later in the year.
