Bit Reactor and Respawn Entertainment have officially announced that they will be revealing their Star Wars turn-based tactics game in April 2025.
Bit Reactor, in collaboration with Respawn Entertainment and Lucasfilm Games, is set to unveil their upcoming Star Wars turn-based tactics game during Star Wars Celebration Japan. The reveal is scheduled for April 19, 2025, as part of the event’s panel sessions.
The panel, titled “Bit Reactor Developer Panel featuring Respawn Entertainment and Lucasfilm Games,” will take place from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM JST on the Galaxy Stage. Attendees can expect an exclusive first look at the new game, which has been under development since its announcement in January 2022.
Bit Reactor, led by industry veteran Greg Foerstch, comprises former developers from Firaxis Games, known for titles like XCOM and Civilization. Respawn Entertainment is producing the project, with Bit Reactor leading its development.
“We are huge fans of Star Wars here at Respawn and we’re thrilled to work with Lucasfilm Games on new titles that we have wanted to make for years,” said Zampella. “If you want to make great Star Wars games, you should come join us on our journey.”
For fans unable to attend in person, the panel is expected to be streamed online. Details regarding the streaming platform and access will be provided closer to the event date.
