Capcom has announced that Monster Hunter Wilds’ Title Update 1 will be released on April 4, 2025. This update introduces several significant additions to enhance the gaming experience:
- Mizutsune Encounter: Players can now hunt Mizutsune, a leviathan known for its bubble-based attacks, adding a new challenge and opportunities for unique gear.
- Grand Hub Area: A new central gathering location where players can interact, participate in activities like Barrel Bowling, and enjoy performances by the Diva during nighttime.
- Arena Quests: Competitive missions where players can test their hunting skills and achieve top completion times, fostering a competitive community aspect.
- Arch-Tempered Rey Dau: A more formidable version of Rey Dau will be available through an event quest starting April 29, offering challenging gameplay and exclusive rewards.
- Classic Gestures and Cosmetic DLC: The update includes nostalgic gestures from previous titles and cosmetic downloadable content, such as a new outfit for handler Alma and customizable camp gear.
Looking ahead, a second free Title Update is planned for summer 2025, introducing Lagiacrus as a new huntable monster, expanding the game’s roster and challenges.
