The Triple-i Initiative Showcase 2025 exploded onto the indie scene with over 35 announcements, new gameplay trailers, early access dates, and some surprise updates. Held on April 10, the event spotlighted creativity and risk-taking in the indie world—minus ads, fluff, or corporate clutter.

Major Game Announcements
- Void/Breaker – A high-octane roguelike FPS where players battle through hordes of killer robots with customizable weapons and destructible environments.
- Neverway – A dark twist on life simulators, featuring a protagonist who becomes an immortal herald of a dead god. Developed by Coldblood Inc., co-founded by Celeste and TowerFall pixel-artist Pedro Medeiros, with an original soundtrack by Disasterpeace.
- Duskfade – An action-platformer set in a “clockpunk” world, where players control Zirian on a quest to restore time in a land of eternal night.
- Frostrail – A co-op survival game for up to four players, combining elements of Snowpiercer and Rust. Players must keep the Eden Engine moving to survive a frigid apocalypse.
- The Alters – A sci-fi survival game where protagonist Jan Dolski creates alternate versions of himself to survive on a hostile alien planet. Scheduled for release on June 13, 2025.
- Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core – A roguelite spin-off of Deep Rock Galactic, featuring co-op gameplay. A closed alpha is planned before its early-access launch on Steam.
- Outbound – An open-world exploration game where players transform an empty camper van into a dream home during their travels. A closed alpha begins on April 14.
- SpeedRunners 2: King of Speed – A sequel to the competitive platformer, allowing up to eight players to race with new moves and power-ups.
- Rematch – A fast-paced 5v5 soccer game from Sloclap, the studio behind Sifu. A closed-beta weekend kicked off immediately after the showcase.
- Ikuma: The Frozen Compass – An adventure game set in 1864 on an uncharted Arctic island, featuring solo and co-op modes. Scheduled for release in 2026 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
- Into the Fire – An extraction game from Starward Industries, where players face natural and mythical dangers on Dante’s Archipelago. Launching first on Steam Early Access later this year.
- Tears of Metal – A hack-and-slash roguelike inspired by Braveheart, with a public beta available until April 17.
- Vampire Survivors: Emerald Diorama – A major free update adding new characters, weapons, attacks, and a new stage with seven biomes. Available now on PC, console, and mobile.

- Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault – A sequel to the shopkeeping dungeon-crawler, debuting in early access for PC in Summer 2025, and also coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
- Morbid Metal – A hack-and-slash roguelite with shape-shifting characters and intense boss fights. Coming to Steam Early Access in Summer 2025.
- Escape Simulator 2 – A sequel featuring new escape rooms set in locations like Dracula’s castle and a starship lost in space. A demo is now available on Steam.
- CloverPit – A roguelite where players must pay off their debt at the end of each round using a slot machine and an ATM. A free demo is available on Steam.
- BlazBlue Entropy Effect – A roguelite adventure game receiving two updates this year: one adding couch co-op mode, and another introducing a character from Dead Cells.
- Enshrouded: Thralls of Twilight – An update for the co-op survival game Enshrouded, introducing new powers and enemies. Scheduled for May.
- X4: Foundations – Diplomacy Update – A free update adding strategic elements and an embassy facility, arriving in Summer 2025.
