Get ready to breach and clear: Ready or Not officially launches for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on July 15, 2025.
Originally released in early access back in 2021 and fully launched on PC in late 2023, Ready or Not brings its tense, methodical SWAT-style gameplay to consoles for the first time. Players command an elite team of officers as they navigate high-risk situations ranging from hostage rescues to bomb threats. No run-and-gun here success demands precision, communication, and split-second decision-making.
The console version comes with all major content updates and improvements from the PC build, including revamped enemy AI, new missions, enhanced visual fidelity, and deep customization options for gear and tactics. The console release also includes full support for gamepad controls, haptic feedback on PS5, and 4K/60FPS optimizations on both platforms.
Void Interactive confirmed that cross-platform play will not be available at launch, though they’re exploring the feature for a future update.
If you’re looking for a tense, grounded tactical shooter that rewards teamwork and restraint over brute force, Ready or Not might just be the most intense game you’ll play this winter.
