As PlayStation Plus continues its rotating library of games, July 2025 brings the departure of several notable titles from the Extra and Premium tiers. Sony has confirmed that six games will leave the service on 15 July 2025, giving subscribers just under a month to dive in and experience them before they’re gone.
Here’s a look at the titles leaving PlayStation Plus next month and why you might want to squeeze them in before the cut-off.
Dying Light 2: Stay Human (PS5, PS4)
Techland’s sequel to their breakout zombie parkour game is a massive open-world experience. It combines acrobatic traversal with brutal melee combat and branching narratives. While opinions have been divided since its launch, the game has seen significant post-launch support and improvements. If you enjoy fast-paced action, exploration, and a morally grey story set in a decaying world, this is one to jump into.
Remnant II (PS5)
Often described as “Dark Souls with guns,” Remnant II is a cooperative third-person shooter set in a procedurally generated world full of eldritch horrors. With its deep lore, punishing bosses, and rewarding co-op gameplay, it’s a standout PS5-exclusive entry. For fans of sci-fi fantasy, action RPGs, and challenging mechanics, Remnant II is not to be missed.
Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion (PS5, PS4)
This polished remake of the beloved PSP classic tells the story of Zack Fair a key figure in the Final Fantasy VII universe. With remastered visuals, voice acting, and a reworked combat system, it bridges the gap between FFVII and Remake. Whether you’re a long-time fan or curious newcomer, this heartfelt prequel is worth your time.
Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord (PS5, PS4)
A deep medieval sandbox experience where you can rise from mercenary to monarch. Whether you’re commanding armies in massive real-time battles, trading your way to fortune, or conquering territories, Bannerlord offers immense freedom and replayability. While it’s not the most polished title, fans of strategy, RPG, and simulation games will find a hidden gem here.
Job Simulator (PSVR2)
For VR players, Job Simulator is a fun and irreverent take on everyday occupations like office work, cooking, and auto repair. Its humor and interactivity make it a perfect introduction to PSVR2. It’s a quick, enjoyable play for newcomers and VR veterans alike.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong (PS5, PS4)
In this narrative-driven RPG, you play as three vampires navigating complex conspiracies in a world governed by the secretive Masquerade. With a heavy focus on dialogue, choices, and investigation, it’s an experience for those who crave story and atmosphere over action. It didn’t make a big splash at launch, but it’s quietly found a niche audience.
Last Chance to Play
These titles will be removed from PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium on 15 July 2025. If you haven’t played them yet, now’s your chance to download or add them to your library while they’re still available. After they leave, they’ll need to be purchased separately if you wish to continue playing.
The PS Plus rotating Catalog continues to surprise with the breadth of content available and the bittersweet farewells each month brings. July’s line-up of departing titles includes cult hits, RPG staples, and VR fun. Whether you’ve been putting off Crisis Core, wanted to try Remnant II with friends, or never got around to Dying Light 2, now’s the time to queue them up.
Stay tuned to 1-Up Games for PlayStation’s mid-month announcement of what new titles will be replacing them. Until then, happy gaming.
