Pokémon Presents Is This Week – Here’s When Aussies Can Watch It

Catch the next big wave of Pokémon news

If you’re a Pokémon fan living down under, you might want to mark your calendar. The next Pokémon Presents livestream is just around the corner, and it’s looking like one you won’t want to miss. Nintendo and The Pokémon Company are gearing up to show off what’s next for the franchise, and it’s all going down this Tuesday, July 22nd.

Now, I’ll be honest as an Aussie, the timing’s a little annoying. But hey, that’s the price we pay for living in the future. So here’s exactly when to tune in, wherever you are in Australia:

All The Aussie Times:

  • Melbourne & Sydney (AEST): 11:00 PM – Tuesday, July 22
  • Brisbane (AEST): 11:00 PM – Tuesday, July 22
  • Adelaide (ACST): 10:30 PM – Tuesday, July 22
  • Perth (AWST): 9:00 PM – Tuesday, July 22

Set your alarm, put the kettle on, and maybe throw on some comfy trackies this is a late one.

What’s Actually Being Shown?

Nintendo’s staying tight-lipped, as usual, but we’ve got some solid guesses. The biggest one? We’re likely getting a major update on Pokémon Legends: Z-A the mysterious new title that was announced back in February. That game is supposed to land later this year, so a deeper look now would make a lot of sense.

Other than that, you can expect the usual:

  • New seasonal content for Pokémon GO
  • Something random for Pokémon Café ReMix
  • Maybe more info on Pokémon Unite, TCG Pocket, or even a new spinoff no one asked for but will secretly love

There’s also buzz about Season 2 of Pokémon Concierge on Netflix and get this whispers of a Pokémon rhythm game. If true, and Pikachu starts DJing, I’m all in.

Where To Watch It

Easy. The whole thing will be live on The Official Pokémon YouTube Channel. You don’t need to sign up for anything or click through sketchy links. Just head to the channel on the night and the livestream will be right there. It’ll probably start a couple minutes early, so jump on around 10:50 PM if you’re in Melbourne or Brisbane.

And if you miss it? No worries. The full video usually goes up straight after the stream ends,

We all know how these things go. Sometimes they’re a bit of a let-down, and other times they drop something so unexpected it melts the internet. Either way, if you’re a Pokémon fan, it’s always worth tuning in even if you’re half-asleep and clutching a hot mug of Milo.

So yeah, that’s your heads up. Pokémon Presents. This Tuesday night. Be there or be a Trubbish.
