Fans of over-the-top racing and cinematic chaos won’t have long to wait for their next high-octane fix. Fast & Furious: Arcade Edition has officially been announced for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch, with a release date set for October 24, 2025.
This console release brings home the thrill of the Fast & Furious arcade game originally developed by Raw Thrills. The project is being handled by Cradle Games, with publishing duties falling to GameMill Entertainment in partnership with Universal Products & Experiences.
Unlike traditional racing sims, this isn’t about shaving milliseconds off lap times. The focus here is pure spectacle expect destructible environments, jaw-dropping stunts, and race courses that twist and branch into secret routes. You’ll be weaving through crowded city streets one moment, then blasting through collapsing structures the next.
Players will get to climb behind the wheel of a line-up that would make Dominic Toretto grin, including the Dodge Charger, Ford GT, Shelby GT500 KR, Corvette Z06, Jeep Wrangler, and Bronco DR. Each can be dressed up with custom paint jobs for a personal touch.
The game isn’t just about crossing the finish line, either. Several tracks are tied to cinematic missions, such as intercepting a missile in the Swiss Alps or forcing a plane to abort take-off in Hong Kong. These objectives give each race a little extra flair, blending driving skill with blockbuster set-pieces.
And yes split-screen multiplayer is in. Whether it’s friendly competition or a chance to settle grudges, local two-player racing makes a welcome return for those who prefer couch rivalry over online matchmaking.
With its mix of explosive action, branching race routes, and over-the-top scenarios, Fast & Furious: Arcade Edition looks set to bring some of that summer-blockbuster energy to living rooms when it launches this October.
