Nintendo has confirmed that a special Direct devoted entirely to Kirby Air Riders will air tonight, running for a full 45 minutes. The presentation will be hosted by Masahiro Sakurai, the legendary creator behind the Kirby series and the director of the original Kirby Air Ride on GameCube.
The broadcast is set to dive deep into what players can expect from the upcoming title, which is being developed for the Nintendo Switch 2. Given its length, the showcase is expected to cover multiple aspects of the game, from new tracks and mechanics to a potential look at how the beloved City Trial mode has been reimagined for modern audiences.

The presentation begins on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, and will be streamed live via Nintendo’s official YouTube and Twitch channels.
