Pokémon fans, mark your calendars: from August 28 to 30, 2026, San Francisco will host the highly anticipated Pokémon World Championships at the Moscone Center. This event coincides with the debut of PokémonXP, a new fan experience that promises to be a significant part of the celebration.
PokémonXP: A New Fan Experience
PokémonXP is set to offer a variety of attractions for attendees. While specific details are still forthcoming, fans can look forward to interactive panels, exclusive merchandise, workshops, and appearances by special guests. The event aims to replace many of the fan-centric attractions typically associated with the World Championships, such as art exhibits and meet-and-greets.
Pokémon World Championships
The main tournament will take place at the Chase Centre, home of the Golden State Warriors. This marks the first time the World Championships will be held in San Francisco, following previous events in Anaheim and Honolulu.
