Fans of The Elder Scrolls Online are set for a rare treat this October, with ZeniMax Online Studios bringing a special community event to Melbourne as part of Melbourne International Games Week 2025.

The event, titled Player Night: The Elder Scrolls Online, will take place at ACMI on Wednesday, October 8, running from 7:00 PM to 10:30 PM. It’s designed as an after-hours celebration of the long-running MMORPG, blending themed activities, community interaction, and exclusive insights from the game’s creative team.

One of the big highlights is the appearance of Rich Lambert, Studio Game Director at ZeniMax Online Studios. Lambert will be giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at ESO’s ongoing development, offering a rare chance to hear directly from the person guiding the game’s future.

Attendees can also expect a wide range of immersive experiences. The night includes access to ACMI’s Game Worlds exhibition, interactive lore-themed puzzles, arts and crafts inspired by Tamriel, and photo opportunities within Elder Scrolls-themed setups. To make the atmosphere even more authentic, the event will feature themed food, cocktails, and music drawn straight from the world of ESO.

Tickets are on sale now, priced between $56 and $59, and the event is strictly 18+. Given ESO’s long-standing community in Australia, the event is shaping up to be a major gathering point for local fans who want to celebrate the game together.

With The Elder Scrolls Online continuing to expand and evolve more than a decade after its launch, Melbourne’s Player Night represents both a celebration of its legacy and a glimpse into what lies ahead.
