LEVEL-5 Brings Layton, Inazuma, and Fantasy Life to TGS 2025

Very Cool

Tokyo Game Show 2025 is shaping up to be a busy one for long-time RPG and adventure fans, as LEVEL-5 has confirmed a strong trio of games for the event. The studio will be putting the spotlight on three titles that represent some of its most beloved franchises: Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time, Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road, and Professor Layton and the New World of Steam.

All three will be fully playable on the show floor, marking an important chance for fans to go hands-on before release. Fantasy Life i will also be available in the Family Game Park section, making it easy for younger players to try it out alongside their parents. Inazuma Eleven and Layton, meanwhile, will have dedicated demo stations at LEVEL-5’s main booth.

To sweeten the deal, the company is handing out exclusive items for anyone who tests the games. Fantasy Life i players will walk away with an original memo pad, Inazuma Eleven trialists can score a random rubber wristband, and Professor Layton visitors will get a smartphone ring holder. On top of that, all booth visitors will receive a limited metallic clear file while supplies last. It’s a small but classic touch that LEVEL-5 often brings to events, turning the trip into a collector’s opportunity.

Fans of Inazuma Eleven will also find a special photo spot near the booth, complete with a brand-new illustration to mark the occasion. It’s the kind of community-focused addition that has kept the series close to its audience for more than a decade.

The presence of Professor Layton and the New World of Steam is particularly noteworthy. This marks the puzzle-solving gentleman’s first big playable showing in years, and anticipation for his return has only grown since the game was first teased. Likewise, Victory Road represents a chance for the soccer RPG to make its long-awaited comeback, while Fantasy Life i continues to carry the life-sim torch for fans of the Nintendo 3DS original.
