Sega Teases Four Mystery Titles in Tokyo Game Show 2025 Lineup

Great Line up

Sega has lifted the curtain on its Tokyo Game Show 2025 plans, confirming a healthy mix of established series and fresh experiences. But what really caught fans off guard wasn’t what was listed it was what wasn’t. The publisher’s lineup announcement included four blank spaces, hinting at unannounced projects that will be revealed during the event.

While that lineup alone would be enough to keep Sega in the spotlight, the inclusion of four unrevealed titles is what has set speculation alight. Sega’s silence on the matter has left room for plenty of theories: could we see the long-rumoured Jet Set Radio revival, a new Virtua Fighter, or even a brand-new IP? Atlus, Sega’s RPG powerhouse, could also be behind at least one of the mystery projects, whether it’s a Persona spin-off or something entirely unexpected.

Leaving blank slots in a TGS lineup isn’t without precedent, but doing so this openly feels like a deliberate move to build anticipation. It suggests Sega is confident that what it has to show will be worth the wait.
