That alone might not sound like much, but the timing has set off alarms across the community, especially given the studio’s other big project, Goddess of Victory: NIKKE.
Just days ago, NIKKE announced its upcoming crossover with Resident Evil, bringing Jill Valentine into the game alongside a host of survival horror-inspired content. The reveal carried a heavy emphasis on creepy visuals mansion interiors, ritualistic imagery, and all the atmosphere fans expect from Capcom’s horror classic. Now, with Stellar Blade suddenly leaning into a similar horror aesthetic, fans are putting two and two together.
Could Shift Up be setting up a double punch of collaborations? Some believe the hallway shot hints at a Resident Evil-flavoured DLC or crossover event coming to Stellar Blade.
