ROG Xbox Ally’s have an Australian Price and are up for Preorder

The much-anticipated pricing for the new ROG Xbox Ally handhelds have been revealed:

ROG Xbox Ally: $999 AUD
ROG Xbox Ally X: $1,599 AUD

Both models are up for preorder for an October 16th release date. Alongside the handheld PCs, a couple of accessories are available:

ROG Bulwark Charging Dock: $349 AUD
ROG Xbox Ally 2 in 1 Premium Travel Case: $79

Interesting, the ROG Xbox Ally X variant is only available at JB Hi-Fi and directly from ASUS with the ROG Xbox Ally standard variant being available at most expected retails such as EB Games, Amazon and some computer stores.

Whilst the pricing is in line with expectations, it’s still a major shift in hardware for the Xbox brand, it will be interesting to see how uptake flows through the Gaming community.
