OSPUZE From THE FINALS Becomes a Real Drink With PXL’s “Sour Core” Flavour

Very Cool

What started as a fictional energy drink inside THE FINALS has now broken out of the game and onto store shelves. Embark Studios has partnered with Swedish beverage maker PXL to produce a real-world version of OSPUZE, debuting with a green apple flavour called “Sour Core.

The collaboration marks a rare instance where in-game branding has been translated directly into a consumer product. OSPUZE, often seen in the arenas of THE FINALS, has become part of the game’s visual identity. Bringing it into reality was described by Embark as “a magical collision of fiction and the real world.”

The first batch of OSPUZE Sour Core is being sold exclusively through PXL’s online store, priced at SEK 449 for a 24-can pack. Deliveries are set to begin in mid-October, with availability expanding later to select retail partners. PXL says the drink carries its usual energy formula but leans heavily into the crisp, tart bite of green apple. https://pxlpowerup.se/

For Embark, the move doubles as fan service and clever brand building. “This is something the community has joked about since OSPUZE first appeared in the game,” said Mikael Hollsten, co-founder of PXL. “Making it real felt like the natural next step.”

Whether players buy it as a collectible or simply as a new flavour of energy drink, OSPUZE’s arrival in the real world underlines the growing crossover between gaming culture and lifestyle products. What was once just a background detail on a virtual billboard is now something fans can actually crack open and taste.
