Dragon Ball Sparking Zero Developers Confirm Next DLC Is Already in the Works

More to come

Bandai Namco isn’t slowing down when it comes to Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero. Just as players are getting used to the latest wave of content, the developers have already confirmed that the next DLC pack is being worked on and fans won’t have to wait long to hear more about it.

The news surfaced following the release of the most recent Daima Character Pack 2, which pushed the game’s roster to a staggering 208 playable fighters. Alongside the new characters, players also received a free stage update, further fuelling the idea that the developers want to keep the experience evolving well beyond launch.

In a brief statement, Bandai Namco teased that the “next DLC is already in the pipeline,” with more details expected to arrive in January 2026. That line alone was enough to spark speculation across the community, as the original Season Pass roadmap only covered three main DLC releases. The confirmation suggests that additional content is coming outside the initial plan, something long-time Dragon Ball fans are eager to see.

Fans who’ve been with the Budokai Tenkaichi series since the PlayStation 2 era know just how much these games thrive on quantity, variety, and the thrill of “what if” matchups. By committing to even more DLC, Bandai Namco is keeping that tradition alive and showing that Sparking! Zero isn’t anywhere near finished.
