It looks like a grocery store may have just leaked two major character reveals from The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.
Earlier today, fans noticed that Tops Markets, a regional grocery chain on the East Coast, listed a new product on its website: “Pillsbury The Super Mario Galaxy Shape Sugar Cookie Dough.” The promotional image attached to the listing showed Yoshi and Bowser Jr. two characters who, until now, hadn’t been officially confirmed for Illumination’s upcoming Mario sequel. The crazy thing is the listing is still up here.
If the leak holds true, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie could be expanding its cast in a big way. Yoshi’s inclusion has been teased since the post-credits scene of the first film, and Bowser Jr.’s presence suggests that Bowser’s family might play a more direct role in the sequel’s story.
Given the “Galaxy” subtitle, it’s also likely that the film will shift its setting beyond the Mushroom Kingdom potentially bringing in Rosalina or the Lumas as key supporting characters.

Whether Nintendo addresses it or not, Yoshi and Bowser Jr. now seem all but certain to join the cinematic Mushroom Kingdom. And if the leak’s any indication, marketing for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie might start heating up soon with or without Tops Markets’ help.
