Hunters, gear up Capcom has officially slated Title Update 4 for Monster Hunter Wilds to go live on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
This update marks one of the biggest content boosts the game has seen since launch not just in new monsters, but also in performance improvements, higher-end content and seasonal events.
What’s Coming in TU4
Here are the highlights you can expect on launch day:
- The return of Gogmazios, a massive Elder Dragon that hasn’t appeared in the series for years. Capcom promises this will be one of the toughest hunts yet for veterans.
- Expanded end-game content, intended to give players more to do once they hit the high ranks.
- A winter-themed seasonal event (via the Festival of Accord) to bring festive flair and new rewards.
- Major PC performance optimisations especially for CPU and GPU use intended to address many players’ complaints about stability and technical issues.
Title Update 4 is shaping up to be a big deal for Monster Hunter Wilds. With the return of a major monster, better performance, more end-game, and holiday-themed content, this could be the moment the game recaptures the excitement of its earlier days. Mark December 16 on your calendar and get those weapons sharpened.
