Ryu’s Office has officially locked in the date for its next major indie showcase. The INDIE Live Expo: Spring Showcase will air on April 25, and it’s shaping up to be one of the largest indie-focused broadcasts of the year.

According to the announcement, the showcase will feature over 100 indie titles from developers around the world, with a mix of world premieres, new trailers, content updates, and extended deep-dive segments. As with previous INDIE Live Expo events, the presentation will focus on giving smaller studios meaningful screen time rather than rushing through announcements.

Game submissions are now open and will remain available until February 20 at 6:59 p.m. PT / 9:59 p.m. ET, giving developers a limited window to put their projects forward for consideration.

Several familiar segments are confirmed to return for 2026, including:

  • INDIE Waves – Rapid-fire announcements covering a wide range of upcoming indie titles
  • INDIE Spotlight – Longer-form presentations highlighting select games chosen by the INDIE Live Expo committee

Speaking about the upcoming event, Ryu’s Office founder and CEO Ryuta Konuma reflected on the scope of the showcase and the creativity it brings together each year.

“Every year we are blown away by the amazing submissions we receive,” Konuma said. “It’s an absolute pleasure to spotlight the boundless creativity across the gaming industry, and we can’t wait to see what indie devs around the world have in store for 2026.”

INDIE Live Expo has steadily grown into one of the most reliable platforms for indie developers looking to reach a global audience, and the Spring Showcase looks set to continue that momentum. More details on streaming platforms and featured titles are expected closer to the event.
