PlayStation Plus Monthly Games for April Include Lords of the Fallen, Tomb Raider I-III Remastered, and Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream

Strong Month

PS Plus

Sony Interactive Entertainment has officially revealed the next batch of PlayStation Plus Monthly Games, and April’s lineup is a pretty solid mix of modern action, old-school nostalgia, and anime co-op chaos.

Starting Tuesday, April 7, all PlayStation Plus members will be able to claim:

  • Lords of the Fallen
  • Tomb Raider I–III Remastered
  • Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream

The three titles will remain available to redeem until Monday, May 4.

Lords of the Fallen

The biggest headliner of the bunch is probably Lords of the Fallen, the dark fantasy action RPG that reimagined the series with a much more ambitious scope than the original.

Set across an interconnected world said to be five times larger than the first game, it follows one of the Dark Crusaders on a mission to stop the demon god Adyr. Like most games in this lane, that means brutal boss fights, a lot of dying, and enough oversized weapons to make common sense feel optional.

One of its more interesting hooks is the dual-realm setup, which lets players move between the world of the living and the dead as part of both combat and exploration. If you bounced off it at launch or just never got around to it, this is probably the ideal time to give it a shot without commitment.

Tomb Raider I–III Remastered

Then there’s Tomb Raider I–III Remastered, which is probably going to hit a very specific pressure point for a lot of people’s childhoods.

This collection bundles Lara Croft’s first three adventures together, along with their expansions and secret levels, while offering both upgraded visuals and the ability to instantly switch back to the original look. So yes, if you want your nostalgia served with sharp edges and awkward jumps, you can absolutely still have it that way.

The remaster also adds a Challenge Mode with custom gameplay modifiers and unlockable outfits, giving returning players at least a little more reason to revisit something they’ve probably already memorized.

Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream

Rounding things out is Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream, which leans heavily into large-scale multiplayer co-op and fanservice for long-time SAO followers.

The setup revolves around a new system called Galaxia, which starts messing with time and space and pulls characters from across different arcs into one shared conflict. That gives the game an excuse to throw together a pretty large crossover-style roster, with 21 playable characters in total.

The big hook here is the online structure: players can team up with up to 20 others globally, split across five four-player parties, to tackle high-difficulty boss fights and raid-style encounters. It’s definitely the most niche title of the three, but for the right audience, it’ll probably be the one they spend the most time with.

A Stronger Month Than Usual?

Taken as a whole, this is one of those PlayStation Plus months that feels a bit more balanced than the usual “one decent game, one old thing, one filler anime title” formula.

You’ve got a substantial action RPG, a genuinely iconic remaster collection, and a multiplayer-heavy game that will absolutely land for a specific crowd. Not every month needs to be massive sometimes it just needs to feel worth claiming, and April mostly clears that bar.

If you’re subscribed, make sure to grab all three before May 4.

Even if you only end up actually playing one of them, that’s still basically the entire PlayStation Plus business model.
