Here’s a First Look at the 007 First Light Limited Edition DualSense

PlayStation has revealed a new limited edition DualSense controller themed around 007 First Light, giving fans a sleek, Bond-inspired design just ahead of the game’s launch.

The 007 First Light DualSense leans heavily into the franchise’s identity, featuring a gold and black colour scheme with a barrel-inspired design across the touchpad, framing the iconic 007 logo. The back of the controller also includes the tagline “Earn the number,” tying directly into the game’s origin story.

Design-wise, it’s one of the more stylised DualSense variants so far clearly aiming to capture the classic elegance of James Bond while still fitting in with Sony’s modern hardware lineup.

Despite the visual overhaul, it’s still a standard DualSense under the hood, meaning players can expect adaptive triggers, haptic feedback, and full compatibility with both PS5 and PC.

The controller is set to launch alongside 007 First Light on May 27, 2026, with pre-orders opening April 17 and limited quantities expected at retail.

For collectors, this feels like one of those controllers that won’t stick around for long especially with the return of James Bond to gaming after such a long break.
