Injustice 3 Reportedly in Development at NetherRealm

A new report from MP1st suggests that NetherRealm Studios is working on Injustice 3, based on a listing found in an anonymous Warner Bros. Games developer’s resume. The project appears alongside other titles, including a Hogwarts Legacy sequel and unannounced games.

While not officially confirmed, the timing makes sense. NetherRealm last released Mortal Kombat 1 in 2023, and the studio typically alternates between Mortal Kombat and Injustice. Back in 2022, studio head Ed Boon hinted the next project would be either Injustice 3 or Mortal Kombat 12.

The Injustice series is known for its darker DC storyline, where Superman becomes a dictator after being manipulated by The Joker, leading to a fractured world and conflict with heroes like Batman.

For now, there’s no official announcement but signs are pointing toward a long-awaited return.
