Capcom has officially revealed its lineup for Gamescom 2026, and two of its biggest upcoming releases will be playable by the public for the very first time.
Leading the publisher’s showcase are Mega Man: Dual Override and Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen, giving attendees in Cologne their first hands-on opportunity with both highly anticipated titles when the event kicks off later this August.
For many fans, the biggest draw will be Mega Man: Dual Override. The latest entry in Capcom’s long-running platforming franchise was announced during The Game Awards 2025, but the publisher has remained largely quiet since its reveal. Gamescom now looks set to serve as the game’s first major public showing, suggesting new gameplay details and additional information could arrive during the event.
Attendees will be able to play:
- Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen
- Mega Man: Dual Override
- Onimusha: Way of the Sword
- Street Fighter 6
With both Mega Man: Dual Override and Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen finally becoming playable, Gamescom 2026 is shaping up to be one of Capcom’s biggest public showcases in recent years. For Mega Man fans especially, August could mark the first substantial look at a project that has remained largely under wraps since its announcement.
Gamescom 2026 runs from August 26 through August 30 at Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany.
