Juliet returns for an all-new zombie-slaying adventure.
Dragami Games, Nada Holdings, and developer JP Universe have announced Lollipop Chainsaw 2 Back2Back, a new entry in the Lollipop Chainsaw series launching on PS5 in 2027.
Juliet Starling returns in a brand-new outfit and with more powerful abilities, as the familiar San Romero has been transformed into Jaredwood, a sprawling metropolis built around the film industry.
The story sees Juliet trapped inside a twisted zombie movie created by a mysterious director. Alongside her allies, she’ll need to uncover the conspiracy behind the chaos while battling a new threat in the form of Corrupted Realm zombies.
The development team includes Hajime Tabata, director of Final Fantasy XV, as well as Masahiro Yuki, who co-produced and wrote the original Lollipop Chainsaw. Character artist NekoshowguN, who worked on the original game’s protagonist, is also involved.
Lollipop Chainsaw 2 Back2Back is scheduled to launch on PlayStation 5 in 2027, with the game having been playable at Tokyo Game Show 2026.
