A brand-new DC fighting game is heading to mobile devices next year.
Developer Drop Fake, in partnership with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, has officially announced DCKO, a free-to-play, real-time fighting game coming to iOS and Android in 2027.
Players can also pre-register for the game now through its official website ahead of launch.
Real-Time PvP Battles
DCKO is built around competitive, real-time player-versus-player combat, allowing players to assemble teams of iconic DC heroes and villains before taking on opponents from around the world.
Rather than focusing on a single fighter, battles revolve around tag-team mechanics, with players able to swap between characters and unleash devastating combo attacks.
According to the developers, the game will feature:
- Real-time online PvP battles
- Story-driven PvE content
- Competitive leaderboards
- Regular content updates with new fighters, maps, stories, and rewards
A Massive Roster of DC Characters
DCKO launches with an impressive lineup of fan-favourite characters drawn from across the DC Universe.

Drop Fake also confirmed that a brand-new Legend will be added every month, expanding the roster after launch.
Fast-Paced Mobile Combat
Combat has been designed specifically for touchscreens while still offering surprising depth.
Players can chain together light and heavy attacks to create extended combos, build a Super meter to unleash powerful finishing moves, and perform throws to break through defensive opponents.
One of the game’s standout mechanics is its emphasis on tag-team gameplay. Players can instantly swap to their reserve fighter to extend combos, trigger assist attacks, or unleash cinematic dual-character Super Moves capable of turning the tide of battle.
Each character can also be customised with different Super Moves and upgrades, allowing players to tailor their favourite heroes and villains to suit their preferred playstyle.

Story Mode and Live-Service Support
Alongside its competitive multiplayer, DCKO will feature exclusive story content set within the DC Universe, as well as additional PvE activities, including a mode known as The Rift.
As a free-to-play title, the game will receive ongoing support with regular content updates introducing new characters, maps, events, and rewards.
Pre-registration for DCKO is available now, with the game set to launch on iOS and Android sometime in 2027.
