Sony and Arc System Works unveiled another major roster reveal for MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls during June’s State of Play, introducing the villainous Knights of Doom as the game’s fourth completed team.

The new trailer confirmed three highly anticipated additions to the roster: Magneto, Green Goblin, and Carnage. While Carnage had been heavily rumored following previous teasers, Magneto and Green Goblin came as major surprises for fans.

The reveal also offered another look at the game’s story mode, which centres around The Champion, one of the Elders of the Universe. The cosmic warrior has assembled Earth’s greatest heroes and villains for a deadly tournament, with entire worlds hanging in the balance should the challengers fail.

With the Knights of Doom now complete, four of the game’s five teams have been revealed:

  • Fighting Avengers
  • Amazing Guardians
  • Unbreakable X-Men
  • Knights of Doom

That leaves just one final team still shrouded in mystery. Based on previous teases, many fans believe Ghost Rider could lead a Midnight Suns-inspired lineup, though Arc System Works has yet to confirm the remaining roster members.

MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls launches on August 6, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and PC, with additional character reveals expected in the lead-up to release. With only one team left to announce, the game’s 20-character launch roster is rapidly taking shape.
