Pearl Abyss has announced that Crimson Desert has now sold more than six million copies worldwide, marking another major milestone for the open-world action-adventure title.
The latest sales figure means the game has added another one million units since April 15, when the developer confirmed it had surpassed five million copies sold.
Released on March 19 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, Crimson Desert got off to a blistering start. The game crossed two million sales within 24 hours of launch, reached three million by March 24, four million by March 31, and five million just over two weeks later.
In a message celebrating the milestone, Pearl Abyss thanked players for their continued support.
“Your adventures and tales continue to make the journey of Crimson Desert even more special,” the studio said. “Once again, thank you to every Greymane who has stepped into Pywel and experienced the world of Crimson Desert in their own way.”
Set in the war-torn continent of Pywel, Crimson Desert combines open-world exploration, large-scale battles, and cinematic storytelling, helping it become one of 2026’s biggest commercial successes.
With six million copies now sold and player interest showing little sign of slowing down, Crimson Desert continues to be a massive win for Pearl Abyss and one of the year’s standout releases.
