The Nintendo Switch 2 version of Hell Is Us has been delayed, with developer Rogue Factor confirming that the game will now launch on October 27, 2026. The game’s upcoming major update has also been pushed back to the same date across all platforms.

In a statement shared on social media, the development team attributed the delay to logistical and distribution issues outside its control, stressing that the decision was not related to technical problems with the Nintendo Switch 2 port.

Hell Is Us Switch 2 Port Is Ready, Developer Says

Rogue Factor reassured players that the Nintendo Switch 2 version is stable and ready for release, expressing confidence in the quality of the port despite the delay.

“Everything is done and ready on our end, there are no technical issues,” the developer stated. “The game is solid, stable, and we are very happy with the Nintendo Switch 2 port!”

The team also thanked new players joining the game through Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus, welcoming them to the world of Hadea.

Originally released in September 2025, Hell Is Us is a third-person action-adventure game that combines exploration, challenging combat, and supernatural mysteries.

Major Update Also Delayed Across All Platforms

To ensure players receive the same experience simultaneously, Rogue Factor has moved the major update to October 27 alongside the Nintendo Switch 2 launch.

The delay means players on existing platforms will also have to wait longer for the update, although the developer has not indicated that any additional issues are affecting development.

Rogue Factor apologised for the change and thanked fans for their continued support, promising to welcome Nintendo Switch 2 players to Hadea later this month.

Hell Is Us is now scheduled to launch on Nintendo Switch 2, with its major update arriving across all platforms, on October 27, 2026.
