Ubisoft has announced the Ghost Recon Insider Program, giving players the opportunity to test the next entry in the long-running tactical shooter series ahead of its release.
The program was revealed during the Ghost Recon 25th anniversary celebration, with Ubisoft inviting players to sign up for upcoming closed tests of the next game.
Players interested in participating can register through three steps: select their preferred platform, sign in with their Ubisoft account, and complete a short survey.
The program is available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Ubisoft Connect.
While Ubisoft has yet to officially reveal the next Ghost Recon game, the Insider Program strongly suggests that development has progressed far enough for the studio to begin gathering feedback from players.
The announcement comes alongside several other Ghost Recon updates, including a next-generation upgrade for Ghost Recon Wildlands and free play periods for both Wildlands and Breakpoint.
With Ghost Recon Breakpoint originally launching in 2019, fans have been waiting several years for the series to return. The Insider Program could finally offer the first opportunity to see what Ubisoft has planned for the franchise’s future.
