Digital Bros has acquired the rights to Wuchang: Fallen Feathers from Leenzee in a deal worth around 32 million RMB (roughly $6.5 million AUD).
The move comes shortly after reports that the game’s development team had disbanded, despite the title selling over 1 million copies since its July 2025 launch.
According to Digital Bros, the acquisition will allow the company to take full control of the IP, enabling faster decisions around its future development and investment.
While no official reason has been given for the studio’s situation, the timing of the acquisition suggests Digital Bros is stepping in to stabilise and potentially continue the franchise under its own direction.
With ownership now secured, the future of Wuchang is unclear but it’s firmly in new hands.
