The Eminence in Shadow: Phantom Echoes Announced for PS5, Switch 2 and PC

Fans of The Eminence in Shadow have a new game to look forward to, with publisher Aiming and developer Team Caravan announcing The Eminence in Shadow: Phantom Echoes.

The roguelite action game is scheduled to launch in 2027 for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.

More importantly for fans of the anime, Phantom Echoes will mark the first console game based on The Eminence in Shadow.

A Roguelite Take on The Eminence in Shadow

While details on Phantom Echoes are still limited, the game is being described as a roguelite action title, putting a new spin on the Eminence in Shadow universe.

The project is being developed by Team Caravan, with Aiming handling publishing duties in Japan.

The game will also receive a worldwide release, with NIS America publishing in the West and Clouded Leopard Entertainment handling publishing across Asia.

For now, Aiming and Team Caravan haven’t revealed a specific release date beyond the 2027 window, so there’s still plenty we don’t know about how the roguelite structure and combat will work.

Still, bringing The Eminence in Shadow to consoles for the first time gives Phantom Echoes a chance to introduce the series to an entirely new audience.
