007 First Light has officially gone gold, confirming development is complete ahead of its release in just two weeks.

Going gold means the final launch build has been locked in and is now ready for manufacturing and digital distribution, marking a major milestone for IO Interactive and its highly anticipated James Bond project.

The upcoming title serves as a completely original take on the iconic spy franchise, featuring a younger Bond in what IO Interactive describes as a standalone origin story separate from the films.

Recent previews have highlighted the game’s blend of stealth, espionage, cinematic action, and social infiltration mechanics elements clearly inspired by IO’s experience developing the Hitman series.

007 First Light launches in two weeks for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with a Nintendo Switch 2 version arriving later this year.
