After the memo from Xbox CEO Asha Sharma that stated “Stabilize Gen Nine as a healthy and high-quality base” as a priority, it’s nice to see some quick follow through, even if it’s hard to know what was, and was not, already in development.
As is the standard, all updates rollout through the Insiders program before getting released to all Xbox Series consoles.
June Update
- New Boot up Experience featuring the new green Xbox logo.
- Earn new tiered Gamerscore badges visible on your profile and guide.
- New filters are available to help separate games you own and installed titles you no longer have access to.

April Update
- Updated achievement icon and animation including colour matching your profile when you unlock achievements.
- Ability to hide games from your achievement list, games will still count towards Gamerscore.
- Highlight your 100% games so they’re more visible.
- ” We’re continuing to explore new ways to recognize completion and milestone moments over time, and this update is one of our first steps towards celebrating those moments.” – Alex Charters, Xbox Wire.
