Lies of P 2 Officially Enters Full-Scale Development

Lies of P 2 has officially entered full-scale development, according to developer Round8 Studio and publisher NEOWIZ.

The sequel follows the breakout success of the original Lies of P, which became one of the most acclaimed Soulslike titles in recent years thanks to its dark Belle Époque-inspired setting, brutal combat, and twisted reimagining of the Pinocchio story.

While specific gameplay details for Lies of P 2 have yet to be revealed, moving into full-scale development suggests the project has now transitioned beyond pre-production and into active content creation.

The original game’s strong commercial and critical performance made a sequel feel almost inevitable. NEOWIZ previously confirmed the franchise would continue following the success of both the base game and its post-launch content roadmap.

Fans are already speculating about what direction the sequel could take after the ending of the first game, particularly following teases involving other classic literary characters and the expanding dark fantasy universe established by the studio.
