Control Surpasses 6 Million Copies Sold

Control has officially sold more than six million copies worldwide, marking another major milestone for Remedy Entertainment’s critically acclaimed supernatural action game.

Originally released in 2019, Control quickly became one of Remedy’s most celebrated titles thanks to its mind-bending narrative, brutalist-inspired world design, and reality-warping combat mechanics centred around protagonist Jesse Faden.

Set inside the shifting halls of the Federal Bureau of Control, the game blended cinematic storytelling with telekinetic combat and paranormal horror, helping establish Remedy’s growing connected universe that now also includes Alan Wake and Alan Wake II.

The six million sales milestone further cements Control as one of the most successful new AAA IPs of the last console generation.
