It looks like a brand-new Hot Wheels game is speeding onto the starting grid. According to a new report, Hot Wheels Infinite Rush is set to launch on September 24, 2026, bringing the iconic toy cars back to consoles and PC for the first time since Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged released in 2023.
Developed by Milestone, the studio behind the previous Unleashed games, Infinite Rush is reportedly heading to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC, with a launch price of $49.99 USD.
The leak comes courtesy of Dealabs insider billbil-kun, who also spotted what appears to be an official trailer that was accidentally published early by EB Games Australia. The trailer showcases a significant shift in scope for the franchise, featuring an expansive open-world environment packed with oversized tracks, stunts, and larger-than-life set pieces.
Players can be seen racing through a variety of environments, performing gravity-defying jumps, and navigating elaborate track designs that blend Hot Wheels’ trademark orange circuits with open-world exploration. One standout moment even features a gigantic creature resembling King Kong towering over part of the map, suggesting the game will lean heavily into the toy brand’s imaginative style.
While publisher Mattel and Milestone have yet to officially announce the title, speculation is growing that Hot Wheels Infinite Rush could make its formal debut during Summer Game Fest 2026.

If the leak proves accurate, racing fans won’t have long to wait before getting behind the wheel, with Hot Wheels Infinite Rush currently targeting a September 24, 2026 release date across PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC.
