Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2’s Confrontation Update Available Now

Saber Interactive and Focus Entertainment have officially released the Confrontation Update for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, delivering a wealth of new content for both PvP and PvE players.

The free update introduces new multiplayer maps, a powerful enemy type, additional weapons, cosmetic content, and long-awaited modding support for PC players.

Everything Included in the Confrontation Update

Players can jump into the following new content today:

• Two new PvP maps
• New enemy: Scarab Occult Terminator Sorcerer
• Six new Heroic Weapons
• Three new armour pieces
• Salamanders Champion Pack 2
• Raptors Cosmetic Pack
• Steam Workshop modding support

New PvP Content Arrives

Competitive players can battle across two brand-new PvP maps, expanding the multiplayer experience with fresh environments and new tactical opportunities.

The update also introduces the Scarab Occult Terminator Sorcerer, adding another formidable Chaos enemy to face on the battlefield.

More Weapons and Customisation

The Confrontation Update expands players’ arsenal with six Heroic Weapons, alongside three new armour pieces to further customise their Space Marines.

Owners of the game’s cosmetic content can also access the new Salamanders Champion Pack 2 and Raptors Cosmetic Pack, adding even more chapter-inspired armour and appearance options.

Steam Modding Support Goes Live

Perhaps the biggest addition for the PC community is the introduction of official Steam modding support.

The new tools will allow creators to develop and share community content, opening the door for new experiences and helping extend the game’s longevity on PC.

With fresh multiplayer maps, new equipment, additional cosmetics, and official mod support, the Confrontation Update is one of the biggest post-launch content drops for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 to date.
