Until Dawn and The Quarry developer Supermassive Games has announced that it has begun a redundancy consultation process that could result in up to 75 employees losing their jobs.
The studio confirmed the news in a statement, describing it as a difficult decision as it works to restructure its workforce.

The potential layoffs add Supermassive Games to the growing list of studios affected by the industry’s ongoing wave of job cuts, with developers continuing to face financial pressure despite major releases and successful franchises.
The studio is currently working across several projects, including titles in its Dark Pictures anthology, making the news particularly concerning for the teams involved.
Supermassive has not yet confirmed which specific departments or projects could be affected.
