NCSOFT has announced Like or Die, a new team-based survival first-person shooter that puts 16 streamers across four teams into a deadly competition where every victory, death and clutch play becomes part of a live broadcast.
Set on the cosmic streaming platform Quaya Stream, players must earn “LIKE”s, gather resources and fight to become the ultimate streamer. One of the game’s biggest twists is the Block Gun, which allows players to spawn cube-shaped blocks around the battlefield to create defensive walls, open new pathways and completely reshape the arena.
Each team also has a Nexus, which acts as its source of respawns. As long as the Nexus remains standing, players can return to the fight but once it is destroyed, those respawns are gone for good. Teams will need to balance defending their own Nexus while attempting to eliminate their rivals and become the last team standing.
Players can also collect resources to purchase stronger weapons and items, while airdrops and sponsor-supplied Lucky Blocks offer opportunities to turn the tide of battle.
Like or Die is coming to PC via Steam. No release date has been announced as of yet.
