The recently revived action RPG is heading to physical media.
Limited Run Games has announced plans to release a physical edition of The Lord of the Rings: War in the North – Legacy Edition.
The announcement means collectors will eventually be able to add the revived action RPG to their shelves, with physical versions expected to arrive for the game’s console releases, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2.
Limited Run Games has not yet revealed full details regarding the release, including pricing, editions, or pre-order dates. The company has simply confirmed that additional information is on the way.
The Lord of the Rings: War in the North – Legacy Edition is currently available digitally on PC and modern consoles, giving players another opportunity to experience the cooperative action RPG set in Middle-earth.
For collectors like me, however, the upcoming physical release will undoubtedly be the version to watch. More details are expected to be announced at a later date.
