8BitDo has announced a new collection of controllers celebrating the 30th anniversary of Tomb Raider, bringing Lara Croft’s iconic legacy to two special-edition gamepads.
Titled the 8BitDo x Tomb Raider 30th Anniversary Edition Collection, the lineup features two controllers inspired by different eras of the franchise, celebrating its origins while looking ahead to the future of Lara Croft’s adventures.
The collection includes the 8BitDo Pro 3 Bluetooth Gamepad – Tomb Raider 30th Anniversary Edition, which pays tribute to Lara Croft’s original adventure from 1996, and the 8BitDo Ultimate 3 Controller for Xbox – Tomb Raider 30th Anniversary Edition, inspired by three decades of the franchise and what’s still to come.
Two Controllers Celebrating 30 Years of Lara Croft
According to 8BitDo, the collection’s concept centres on the idea of two controllers standing side by side, much like Lara Croft’s signature dual pistols.
The Pro 3 Bluetooth Gamepad celebrates the series’ beginnings, while the Ultimate 3 Xbox Controller represents its evolution into a modern gaming icon.
The announcement positions the collection as a celebration of both Tomb Raider’s history and its future, giving fans two distinct designs tied to Lara Croft’s enduring legacy.
Further details regarding pricing, release dates, and regional availability have yet to be provided in the information shared.
