The Siege of Castle Doom launches November 10, introducing a new game mode where players must stop Doctor Doom before time runs out.
Publisher Dotemu and developer Tribute Games have released a new trailer for MARVEL Cosmic Invasion’s upcoming paid DLC, The Siege of Castle Doom, offering a first look at its new Castle Doom game mode.
Launching on November 10, the DLC will challenge players to battle through Doctor Doom’s fortress and stop the villain from activating the deadly Cosmic Inductor before it’s too late.
The new mode introduces a Siege Gauge that gradually fills as players progress through the castle. As the gauge increases, Doom’s forces become more powerful, putting additional pressure on players to reach the final confrontation.
Throughout each run, players can collect Battery Cells and complete challenges to unlock upgrades from a selection of 12 different perks, covering defensive, offensive and tactical abilities.
Players will also be able to choose different routes through Castle Doom, selecting buffs along the way to strengthen their characters and customise their combat abilities.
Progression won’t end when a run is over, either. Reed’s Lab will allow players to permanently unlock new equipment, events and modifiers, introducing additional challenges and rewards for future attempts.
The new mode looks to add some welcome replayability to MARVEL Cosmic Invasion, encouraging players to experiment with different routes, upgrades and strategies as they race to stop Doctor Doom.
MARVEL Cosmic Invasion: The Siege of Castle Doom launches on November 10, 2026.
The base game is available now on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.
