Capcom has announced that PRAGMATA has officially surpassed two million units sold just 16 days after launch.

The new IP released worldwide on April 17 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam, with the Switch 2 version arriving in Japan on April 24. The game had already crossed one million sales within its first 48 hours, making this another major milestone for the title.

Set in a near-future lunar world, PRAGMATA follows astronaut Hugh Williams and android companion Diana in a sci-fi adventure blending action, hacking mechanics, and puzzle-solving gameplay. Capcom says the title was designed as a completely new IP focused on delivering a fresh gameplay experience through its unique mechanics, emotional storytelling, and distinctive world design.

According to Capcom, strong early momentum was helped by marketing efforts such as the release of a playable demo ahead of launch. The company also highlighted the game’s narrative particularly the evolving relationship between Hugh and Diana as a key reason behind the positive reception from players worldwide.

With PRAGMATA continuing to gain momentum, the game is shaping up to be one of Capcom’s biggest new franchise launches in recent years.
